Will the battery on a Archos 605 4GB MP3 flash type player last longer then the hard drive versions?

I want to buy a Archos 605 4GB because I hear that the battery last longer, due to the fact that it dont have a hard drive like the Archos 30,80,160 GB. I like the fact that the 4GB Archos is smaller, I figure I will buy a extra flash memory card to go with it. I dont need alot of memory storage.Will the battery on a Archos 605 4GB MP3 flash type player last longer then the hard drive versions?
its mostly a wash. designers opt for smaller batteries for flash players so you end up with about the same life as the hard drive versions.
